Unfortunately, as you may know, high demand and low production rate has caused shortages with many recent product launches.
We will update this blog as often as we can when new information comes to hand regarding recent product launches and stock situation.
Scroll down for the blog or learn more about each launch below.

NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES LAUNCH
LAUNCH BLOG UPDATES
When RTX30 series launched we started the process of sending weekly emails to everyone who was waiting in the pre-order queue. Since then we've had more RTX30 graphics cards launch, AMD CPU's launch and we've got a variety of other launches coming up.
Rather than emailing everyone individually, we'll now be posting important information regarding the supply of products with large numbers of preorders here. Where everyone can access it.
When you log into MyPLE go to Orders and then press Edit Order. On that screen you can see if you have an ETA. If you have an ETA that means you have allocation.
If you had an ETA and it disappears it normally means our supplier revised the quantity or we didn't receive as many as we expected. It does obviously mean that you're right at the front of the queue though!
Didn't create an account when you originally ordered? Just use password reset with the email address you placed the order with to create a password.
If you do not have an ETA in your MyPLE, please do not email the stores asking for an ETA. All the information we have, we share here.
Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti Graphics Cards
Nvidia have announced their RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards can go on sale from 9pm AWST / 11pm AEST on the 10th of June 2021. Please see the following important notes regarding sales of RTX 3070 Ti.
- PLE will be offering customers who ordered any RTX 30 series graphics card prior to 1st March 2021 and have not yet had fulfillment a 30 minute window to card swap to one of a select number of RTX 3070 Ti models. If you're eligible for this, you will receive an email sometime today 9th June 2021.
- All RTX 3070 Ti models we have allocation for will be made available for sale and card swap will be available to the general public at 9:30pm AWST / 11:30pm AEST.
- Similar to the RTX 3080 Ti launch PLE will be capping the number of backorders we take to avoid the situation where customers are waiting months for fulfillment.
- The size of the cap is on a per model basis and is based on a multiplier of our launch allocation for each model.
- While the initial allocations are looking positive, once we start receiving weekly allocation numbers from brands we will open up more pre-order spots and will communicate when these spots will be opened up in advance.
- Some models of RTX 3070 Ti will be reserved for sale within custom builds or prebuilt computers only. These will not be available for sale individually unless you're buying a computer built by PLE (pre-built or custom build to order).
- As always, if you order any RTX30 graphics card and at any point in time decide you do not wish to continue with your order you can cancel any time day or night via MyPLE and receive a full refund within 5 - 7 days (generally within 2 business days).

10th June 2021 23:00 AEST / 21:00 AWST | Card Swap available for PLE customers who have an unfulfilled sales order prior to 1st March 2021 for a RTX 30 graphics card that does not have an ETA. |
10th June 2021 23:30 AEST / 21:30 AWST | Sales to general public on PLE website commences. Card Swap available to all unfulfilled RTX 30 series orders. |
Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti Graphics Cards
Nvidia have announced their RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards can go on sale from 9pm AWST / 11pm AEST on the 3rd of June 2021. Please see the following important notes regarding sales of RTX 3080 Ti.
- PLE will be offering customers who ordered a RTX 3080 in 2020 and have not yet had fulfillment a 30 minute window to card swap to a RTX 3080 Ti. If you're eligible for this, you will receive an email sometime today 2nd June 2021.
- Sales and card swap will be available to the general public at 9:30pm AWST / 11:30pm AEST.
- There are more RTX 3080 Ti available at launch than RTX 3080 however we expect stock will sell out very quickly.

Nvidia RTX30 Series Graphics Cards
A couple of weeks ago we disabled the ability for customers to purchase RTX3070, RTX3080 and RTX3090 graphics cards. This was in part due to the continued uncertainty in relation to supply but also due to our ongoing currency risk management, to make further negotiations with our supply partners and to prepare for potential product launches. As things stand now we're still not accepting new orders for RTX3070, RTX3080 and RTX3090 unless they're part of a full system order.
Worth noting that the last two weeks we have received higher than average RTX3080 supply.
We've had a number of requests from customers to be able to card swap as per previous functionality on our website. Today we have re-enabled the card swap functionality however there is a small change. You will only be able to card swap to cards within your chipset or below chipsets. Additionally we have disabled the ability to swap to cards with long queues. For example someone who has preordered a RTX3070 can change to another 3070 or a 3060 but could not swap to a 3080.
By not accepting new orders for RTX3070, RTX3080 and RTX3090 graphics cards but allowing existing orders to swap to cards with smaller queues or cards that have an ETA available allows us to provide some preference to people already in the queue on acquiring an ETA.
We're all excited for whatever this is and no doubt once we know what it is we'll be able to share our plans for that.
AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Zen3 CPUs
Most stores have stock available to buy of all four AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors. We are waiting for a final shipment of processors to arrive at our eastern states distribution center, it was meant to arrive today (Friday 28/05) but looks like it will arrive Monday 31/05. When that arrives the remainder of 5900X orders will be shipped out ASAP.
It's been a while since our last update, so here is the current situation.
Nvidia RTX30 Series Graphics Cards
In recent weeks weekly allocation numbers have been volatile, a couple of weeks ago we had our highest weekly RTX30 (and specifically RTX3080) quantity allocated since the peak in early December however that week was flanked by weeks of not so good supply.
With such variable numbers it is difficult to predict what lies ahead however RTX3060 and RTX3070 both receive greatest supply, as indicated by our live availability statistics. Overall fulfillment number below.
Series | Overall Fulfillment % |
RTX3060 | 98.9% |
RTX3060Ti | 67.4% |
RTX3070 | 92.6% |
RTX3080 | 62.6% |
RTX3090 | 95.7% |
AMD Radeon RX6000 Series Graphics Cards
The vast majority (specifically, 96.8%) of RX6000 series orders have been fulfilled. We have added live availability statistics to the Radeon RX6000 page.
AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Zen3 CPUs
Everyone that ordered a Ryzen 5600X, 5800X or 5950X now has their cpu or a close ETA and we have fulfilled all those orders at launch pricing. Stock available for all three of these models. Ryzen 5900X we're not as far through the queue as we'd like however AMD have advised that we should be seeing some big allocations of 5900X over the next few weeks. We have added live availability statistics to the Ryzen 5000 Series Zen3 page.
Intel 11th Generation Core CPUs
We've seen good supply of Intel 11th Generation Rocket Lake CPUs. The only problematic models are the 11900K and 11900KF but we're expecting supply before the end of the month or early May (depending on model and location in AU due to shipping times). We've added the live availability statistics there too.
General Information
Due to demand from the emerging Chia cryptocurrency we have had to enable buying limits on large capacity HDD and SSD. If you're in the market for storage it might be a good time to consider buying in case we start to see shortages or pricing changes in the coming weeks/months ahead.
*Fulfillment % is the number of orders that have been supplied or have an ETA as a percentage of current active orders.
Finally some good (ish) news in relation to AMD Zen3 CPUs!! We've been given a weekly forecast from AMD from now until early April. The good news is that it covers a large chunk of back orders. The bad news is that.. well, some ETAs are early April. At a minimum everyone now has an understanding of timing.
If you don't have an ETA now for your AMD cpu, it won't be until mid April at the earliest.
Supply of RTX30 and RX6000 series graphics cards continues to be tight. The latest update from nvidia on RTX30 series supply is that supply will be increasing substantially in the last week of February so hopefully we'll be picking up similar momentum to what we had late last year later this month. RTX3070 is still the highest throughput of all the chipsets.
You can check if you have an ETA by going into MyPLE -> Orders -> Edit Order, next to your preorder product will be either No ETA or a date. Thursdays and Fridays are generally the days to check but an ETA could come any day. This is also where you can cancel or swap to a different card. If you don't have a password, use the password reset facility with your order email address to set a password.
Once you have an ETA, when the card arrives at our warehouse (or the store you're picking up from) you'll see a green tick next to your graphics card. That means it is just waiting to be sent out. Our dispatch team can confirm they've been flat out packaging and dispatching cards all week and there are still more to send. If in your MyPLE it says your card is in stock (green tick) please be patient as we get it ready to go.
Finally - the phones and emails are very busy. Please be patient when trying to get in touch :)
Supply of RTX30 and RX6000 series graphics cards and Zen3 processors continues to be tight. Unfortunately January hasn't seen the supply volumes that we did in November and December. After discussions with all related supply partners we're expecting the remainder of January to continue to be limited additional supply and that things won't improve until February. Unless any news of importance arises, our next update will be in early February.

All allocations for the year are now in for RTX30 and RX6000 graphics cards and AMD Zen3 processors, please check your MyPLE now to see if you have received an ETA.
There will be no further updates until 8th of January after supply partners have re-opened following the festive season closures. Our team will still be receiving and dispatching stock that is in transit to PLE!
Specifically with Zen 3, last week we mentioned that we were expecting at least one shipment before Christmas, maybe two. We can confirm that only one shipment will arrive before Christmas and we will have a priority on attempting to ensure they're dispatched out the moment they arrive. The other shipment we have been given an ETA of 06/01/2021 by AMD.

All allocations for the week are now in for RTX30 and RX6000 graphics cards and AMD Zen3 processors, please check your MyPLE now to see if you have received an ETA. This week saw good allocation on RTX3080 and RTX3090 and a significant allocation of RTX3070.
Supply and allocation of both AMD Zen3 processors and RX6000 graphics cards continues to be very tight. As per the original Nvidia RTX3080 launch we're expecting more detailed information from AMD as time progresses and we'll keep you posted as we have more information.
On the Zen3 processor front there is some good news and bad news. The good news is we were able to secure another batch of Ryzen 5900X - a solid number of you who didn't have an ETA will now have an ETA.
The bad news is the existing shipment that has been delayed a couple of times is delayed again. We're assured that the order will be fulfilled however we're not presently able to advise a reliable ETA. Of course the additional allocation we received this week (ETA 22/12), if we have not received the delayed shipment then these processors will be provided to the first in queue and the people who received 22/12 ETA will slip (most likely into January).
The AMD Zen3 processor and RX6000 graphics card shortages are global supply issues and out of our control.

Unfortunately we didn't receive the last two manufacturer stock allocations until 11pm AEDT last night (Friday night) so we weren't able to get an update out. All allocations for the week are now in, please check your MyPLE now to see if you have received an ETA. If there is any other information of significance to report we will do another update early next week.

We have updated the RTX30 Buying Guide to now also include the percentage complete we are with fulfillment of each RTX30 graphics card sku. If you're after a RTX3080 without the long wait, pick a card at the top of our buying guide. Quite a few people have secured either an ETA or a card within a week or two by doing this. The cards in the lower half of the buying guides have either poor supply, big queues, or both. That means extended waits.
Buying guide for RX6000 will be available once the additional sku's launch and we have some more clarity around the supply situation.
Finally - the phones and emails are very busy. Please be patient when trying to get in touch :)
Update time, here is the important information for the week.
RTX30 - Similar allocation numbers to previous few weeks. All additional supply for the week is now entered. The last purchase order for another 200 cards was entered about 4pm AEDT. Go check your MyPLE to see if you have an ETA.
Zen3 - Similar allocation to last week. We're waiting for some forecasts from AMD before we can make more information available. If we receive information early next week, we'll post here before Friday :)
RX6000 - Reference cards we sold only what we had confirmed supply for, which was tight. Some "AIB" cards launched this week (which we were under NDA until after they launched at 1am) with very limited stock coming and as always we're pushing manufacturers for forecasts but at this stage nothing we can share. More AIB sku's will launch in the coming weeks and we'll execute exactly the same process as RTX30 - prior to putting new sku's online, we will reach out to individual customers in the queue for existing RX6000 cards with an opportunity to card swap and receive an ETA in the queue order.
This week our team has been at maximum capacity dispatching many pallets of orders for RTX30, Zen3 and RX6000. It has been hectic, hopefully you received one of these this week! (sorry for the crappy image, marketing have finished for the day)

You can check if you have an ETA by going into MyPLE -> Orders -> Edit Order, next to your RTX30 graphics card will be either No ETA or a date. Our biggest week yet of RTX30 graphics card allocations from manufacturers, a good sign for the weeks to come. All additional supply for the week has now been entered in into our system, please log in to MyPLE and check whether you got an ETA or are still waiting.
You can check if you have an ETA by going into MyPLE -> Orders -> Edit Order, next to your RTX30 graphics card will be either No ETA or a date. If in your MyPLE it says your card is in stock (green tick) please be patient as we get it ready to go. The bad news for our dispatch team is that there are twice as many cards due to arrive next week so everyone is going to be kept very busy here at PLE!

Moving forward we'll be posting all updates and commentary regarding supply of RTX30 here. You'll get an email whenever we post an update. Not a lot of news this week but please see the following key pieces of information.
We talk to the manufacturers of RTX30 cards every day. Whenever we can secure cards we place orders for them. As soon as we enter the order into our system, it allocates ETAs. So you could get an ETA any day of the week. That is why a weekly email that includes whether you got an ETA is now redundant and we have stopped.
You can check if you have an ETA by going into MyPLE -> Orders -> Edit Order, next to your RTX30 graphics card will be either No ETA or a date. Thursays and Fridays are generally the days to check but an ETA could come any day.
This week we've had a lot of cards arrive at the warehouses, our team has worked tirelessly to get them out as quickly as possible.
Both RTX3070 and RTX3090 have in stock options available. Check the RTX30 Buying Guide and you can see the top cards for both 3070 and 3090 generally have one or more locations in stock. If you're after a RTX3080 without the long wait, pick a card at the top of our buying guide. Quite a few people have secured either an ETA or a card within a week or two by doing this. The cards in the lower half of the buying guides have either poor supply, big queues, or both. That means extended waits.
The weekly update will come out on Friday's going forward. Given we have been receiving allocation from EVGA (the biggest queue) on Fridays, moving the update to Friday's allows us to provide a better update. We also have some updates that we'll be publishing next week to the buying guide to give you more information about choosing which card to buy or swap to.
Finally - the phones and emails are very busy. Please be patient when trying to get in touch :)
The AMD Ryzen 5000 CPU launch has again been hugely popular. Stock of Ryzen 5000 series CPUs was delayed just before launch due to an issue with international freight. Subsequent to that, unfortunately DHL then proceeded to road freight our entire order to Perth instead of air freight to Melbourne and Perth. That pushed ETAs out by a week, we're really bummed about that. Fortunately we've had some support from AMD and some additional local stock was pushed our way. Not enough to cover the whole original first shipment but enough to get product flowing and did allow us some additonal allocation - which has been passed on to everyone.
Comments regarding sku's as at 12th November 2020 12pm AWST
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7Ghz 6 Core 12 Thread AM4 - With Wraith Stealth Cooler - Not in stock but our confirmed purchase orders aren't sold out, you can order now and you'll get an ETA.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.8Ghz 8 Core 16 Thread AM4 - No HSF Retail Box - Not in stock but our confirmed purchase orders aren't sold out, you can order now and you'll get an ETA.
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7Ghz 12 Core 24 Thread AM4 - No HSF Retail Box - We have received orders for about 5 times our launch allocation. Currently waiting AMD for further allocation details.
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4Ghz 16 Core 32 Thread AM4 - No HSF Retail Box - We received orders for about 4 times our launch allocation. Currently waiting AMD for further allocation details.
AMD are still finalizing our next batch. As soon as that happens, we'll post here so you know to check your MyPLE for whether you got a allocation of an ETA or not.
At this stage, we are not expecting excessively long wait times like RTX30 launch where we received orders for over 50 times our launch allocation.
