Unlike the RTX 3080 launch PLE will be capping the number of backorders we take to avoid the situation where customers are waiting months for fulfillment.
The size of the cap is on a per model basis and is based on a multiplier of our launch allocation for each model.
While the initial allocations are looking positive, once we start receiving weekly allocation numbers from brands we will open up more pre-order spots and will communicate when these spots will be opened up in advance.

10th June 2021 23:00 AEST / 21:00 AWST:
- Card Swap available for PLE customers who have an unfulfilled sales order prior to March 1st 2021 for an RTX graphics card that does not have an ETA.
10th June 2021 23:30 AEST / 21:30 AWST:
- Sales to general public on PLE website commences. Card Swap available to all other unfulfilled RTX 30 orders.
*Card swaps for eligible RTX 30 unfulfilled orders available from 11pm AEST 10th June.
Sales to the general public will be live from 11:30pm AEST 10th June.
*There is a strict
1x RTX 30 card per household policy in effect, more details in our
